Experience & qualifications
3-5 years’ experience implementing MHPSS programs
Diploma or degree in public health, psychology, Mental Health or related field
Strong background in information systems or information management
Special attention given to previous experience in training, capacity building and mentorship
Experience working in NGO working environment
Excellent organizational and planning capacity
Good or developing skills in word, excel, Monday.com and other reporting mechanism
Clear capacity or commitment to learn how to use monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) tools
Fluent in other languages an asset (not a must)
English at B2 is mandatory
Goal
Responsible for implementation of and facilitation of Hub activities as a core modality of Humanity Crew actions
Objective 1: Determine training needs and schedule training sessions for Hubs
Prepare training content of hubs based on applied lessons learnt from past practices including reviewing reports and data on responses
Participate in the identification, mobilization and establishment of hubs in emergency responses and preparedness hubs
Prepare educational material such as module summaries, videos etc.
Objective 2: Promote efficiency and competitive advantage by developing the skills of Hub members.
Conduct / support seminars, workshops, individual training sessions both in person at hub locations and remotely via online forum and technical workshops.
Keep attendance and other records of hub participation; actively lead on MEAL with regards to Hub activities
Objective 3: Coordinate with Disaster Response and MEAL officers in Humanity Crew to support preparedness and emergency response capacity of Hubs
Support assessment of the capacity of potential Hub members within an emergency response and facilitating the improvement of MHPSS in these groups as part of emergency response.
Identify specialized needs in potential hubs
Potentially support on emergency responses specific to Hub activation, with secondary role on program support as needed
Liaise with emergency response team on identified needs and outcomes of short-term training, participating in the development of training and capacitation content for hubs where needed
Objective 4: Engage with Humanity Crew’s global community of Hubs on the exclusive online platform
Support the regular facilitation of Humanity Crew’s Global Hubs online platform
Assist with platform moderation, content posting, and follow-ups from members
Monitor engagement, flag technical issues, and provide onboarding support to Hub members
Collaborate with the MHPSS Hubs Manager to ensure meaningful online interaction across Hub members
Remuneration & Benefits
$3,000 - $4,000 depending on experience and qualifications
