Acted Ukraine
Since the beginning of the conflict in 2015 and following the invasion by the Russian Federation in 2022, Ukraine has seen relentless military violence directly affecting over 10.8 million people in 2026, especially in areas close to the frontline. With over 300 staff and 10 offices along frontline areas, Acted has been a leading humanitarian actor in country since 2015. In a challenging security environment, it is committed to providing emergency assistance, such as cash assistance, Shelter and WASH repairs, in-kind support, as well as early recovery support, including economic recovery support, support to local development and infrastructure reconstruction.
You will be in charge of
Under the direct line management of the Project Development Manager (PDM), the Deputy Project Development Manager (D-PDM) ensures the management of a targeted grant portfolio, including: ensuring high quality grants follow up and reporting for this portfolio; supporting funding renewal; and/or contributing to capacity building of more Junior staff. The D-PDM will also support Acted’s positioning in country with regards to its dedicated grants portfolio.

Expected skills and qualifications
Strong experience in Grants Management and Fundraising, including leading and preparation of project proposals for institutional donors.
Knowledge and experience of staff management.
Experience working on the relevant country response is an asset.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Able to communicate complex information clearly, with excellent interpersonal skills.
