About the Role
We are seeking a Warehouse Senior Supervisor who will focus on day-to-day warehouse execution, workforce coordination, inventory transactions, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
Oversee or support all warehouse activities, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of agricultural input orders.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Implement and maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management practices.
Ensure warehouse space is utilized efficiently and products are stored appropriately.
Inventory Control & Systems Management
Maintain accurate inventory records within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other operational platforms.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and support reconciliation processes.
Ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately and in real time.
Support or lead monthly inventory reconciliation and reporting activities.
Team Leadership & Workforce Management
Supervise, coach, and support warehouse staff and casual labor teams.
Allocate tasks and monitor productivity to ensure operational targets are achieved.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of warehouse personnel where required.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
Conduct regular safety checks and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Process Improvement & Reporting
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and operational performance.
Prepare and review operational reports and performance metrics.
Support implementation of new warehouse processes, systems, and best practices.
Participate in cross-functional initiatives to strengthen supply chain performance.
Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain management, or related operational roles.
Experience supervising teams or casual labor workforces.
Strong computer skills and experience using digital inventory systems.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Operations, Supply Chain, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Agriculture, Science, Logistics, or a related field.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
High levels of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
Willingness to work in rural operational locations.
