A logistics and supply chain company in Dubai is hiring for the position of Logistics Supervisor. The role is responsible for supervising daily logistics activities, coordinating deliveries and shipments, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring smooth and timely movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily logistics and transportation operations.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries.
Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely dispatch.
Assign tasks and coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and logistics teams.
Track shipments and maintain accurate logistics records.
Monitor loading, unloading, and proper handling of goods.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
Identify and resolve delivery or operational issues.
Maintain inventory and shipment documentation.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
Prepare daily and weekly logistics reports.
Support management in improving logistics efficiency and reducing delays.

Requirements

Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or a similar role.
Experience in a supervisory position is an advantage.
Good knowledge of logistics and delivery operations.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Good problem-solving and team-management abilities.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
UAE/GCC logistics experience is an advantage.
Freshers with relevant qualifications and strong organizational skills may also apply.
