Marsh Memorial Homes has a vacancy for a Cleaner.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the children in our care.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
At least two (2) years’ proven working experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment, including vacuum cleaners and polishers.
Ability to iron.
Ability to work independently, use initiative and manage time effectively.
Physically fit and able to move normal-sized furniture and use a step-ladder safely.
Good personal hygiene, attention to detail and a pleasant manner.
Ability to communicate in English.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and
polishing.
Ensure rooms and facilities are cleaned and maintained to the required standard.
Report any damages, defects or maintenance concerns.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and consumables.
Handle reasonable requests professionally.
Adhere to health and safety requirements.
