CARE International Türkiye is seeking qualified and experienced consultants to provide technical support to CARE Syria’s agriculture and livelihoods interventions under a six-month consultancy assignment (October 2025 – March 2026), based in Aleppo, Syria.

The Agronomist Consultant will play a critical role in ensuring that the technical design and implementation of agricultural activities are climate-smart, sustainable, and aligned with community needs, national strategies, and sectoral/cluster guidelines. The consultant will provide technical guidance, capacity building, stakeholder coordination, and support to monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, reporting directly to the Livelihoods Program Manager.

Monthly Technical Support Summaries
Stakeholder Coordination Briefs
Practical Training Delivery Reports
SOP Updates & Integration Notes on Agriculture/Food Security Cluster guidelines

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in agriculture/livelihoods programming in crisis-affected contexts.
Strong knowledge of Syrian agricultural policies, coordination mechanisms, and humanitarian cluster systems.
Experience in working with government bodies, INGOs, and local actors.
