Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct awareness-raising and community education sessions on child protection, related risks, and the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the community.
Engage with the community to ensure awareness of child protection risks.
Plan and implement awareness sessions on child protection issues both inside the center and outside through mobile teams.
Contribute to developing facilitation plans for external sessions in camps, schools, and community gathering points.
Support the case management team in identifying children at risk.
Maintain records of beneficiaries who attend awareness sessions.
Protect and ensure the confidentiality of beneficiary data.
Safeguard the physical and psychological well-being of beneficiaries during awareness sessions.
Ensure the best interest of the child at all times.
Required Skills and Experience:
University degree in Psychology, Sociology, or an equivalent field.
Minimum of three years of experience in general protection/child protection.
At least three years of experience in child protection interventions in conflict settings.
At least three years of experience in implementing awareness campaigns for children at risk.
Strong capacity to coordinate local efforts to meet the needs of children at risk.
Solid experience in preparing reports and developing awareness session implementation plans for child protection.
Good command of Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong team spirit, initiative, and ability to carry out tasks assigned by the team leader.
Familiarity with and commitment to humanitarian standards.
