Job Description

Responsible for all caretaking and maintenance aspects of Greencastle Community Centre and grounds.
Providing a range of essential maintenance/cleaning/security functions to aid the smooth running of the Centre.

Job Duties:

• Opening and closing the centre at times determined by the management, including ensuring that the fire alarms are fully operational.
• Ensuring standards of safety, cleanliness, and tidiness are maintained and monitored throughout the centre and grounds.
• Thoroughly cleaning the building and its external areas daily.
• Setting up rooms as necessary in advance of events, classes, and activities.
• Ensuring that the venue is a safe place for service users and staff to occupy.
• Providing general support to the Manager and Board.
• Attending training as required.
