Job Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the Country Director, the Liaison and Security manager ensures the safety and security of Tdh staff, assets, and operations. The role supports safe and effective humanitarian access through security management, liaison, coordination, information sharing, and incident monitoring, in line with humanitarian principles.

Key Responsibilities
Liaison and Representation
·Act as the main liaison with local authorities and relevant stakeholders.
·Represent Tdh in meetings and coordination forums when requested.
·Support coordination, access procedures, and administrative follow-up.
·Provide Arabic translation during official meetings when needed.

Security and Safety Management
·Monitor the security situation and provide timely advice to staff and management.
·Maintain and update security measures in all Tdh-Syria locations.
·Ensure compliance with security policies, SOPs, and access procedures.
·Conduct security briefings, trainings, and movement security check-ups and clearances.
·Supervise physical security, asset protection, and access controls for all Tdh facilities.
·Assist Management of security incidents, emergencies, and draft and finalize relevant reports.

Information and Analysis
·Collect, analyze, and share security and access-related information.
·Prepare security updates, incident reports, and trend analyses.
·Maintain security databases and documentation.
·Coordinate security information sharing with INGOs, UN agencies, and partners.

Qualification:

·Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with INGOs.
·Bachelor’s degree in communication, Political Science, Risk Management, or related field.
·Experience in security risk management and humanitarian access negotiation.
·Training or experience in crisis management, safety, and evacuation procedures.
·Strong IT skills (MS office, Power BI knowledge is an asset).
·Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
