JOB TITLE: Draftsman/CAD Operator for Water system (Level III) design under Community Resilience through Ecological Integrity (CORE) project.

BASE LOCATION: IRPH Country Office, Cotabato City

REPORTING TO: Project WASH Engineer

Job Summary:

The draftsman/CAD Operator will be responsible for generating CAD output for the level III water system in Datu Hoffer - Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao.

Key Deliverables:

CAD drawings based on information available from hand sketches, verbal instructions, site visits and other information made available.

Pro-actively engage with the Project Engineer to ensure clarity about the specific requirements for the drawings to be produced. The template signatories should be advised by the Project Engineer before final printing.

Print drawings and provide soft and hard copies (in A3 quality paper, net and clear) of the outputs to the Project Engineer duly signed by CAD operator. The soft copy should be sent to emails of concerned staffs.

Output will be accomplished as below.

Day 1: Briefing and hand sketching with the Project Engineer

Day 2-8: CAD works

Day 9: First review of the output (printed copy)

Day 10-12: Revision for corrections

Day 13: Final Checking

Day 14: Submission of hard copy in 3 sets (duly signed by CAD operator) and soft copy of the CAD drawing.

Required Qualifications:

Not less than a two-year degree in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and at least five years’ experience as a CAD operator, or a WASH engineer with a minimum of three years’ experience as a CAD operator.

Prior experience in producing CAD drawings for water supply projects is an important advantage.

Demonstrated excellent skills with the application of 2-dimensional CAD software (version 10 and up) in producing drawings for water system projects.

Strongly committed to the timely production of high quality work.

Strong analytic ability in terms of analyzing and interpreting provided information

Availability of a well-functioning laptop computer with CAD software installed and fully operational.

Demonstrated ability in the successful and timely completion of similar assignments in the past
