Friends-International (FI), an award-winning NGO founded in Phnom Penh in 1994. Our vision is a world where every child, young person, and their caregivers are safe from harm and can access education, training and job opportunities to fulfil their potential as productive, functional citizens of their countries. Our multiple dynamic teams in Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar and Europe, together with our partners, deliver innovative services for children, youth, their families and their communities.

THE ROLE

We are launching a flexible, self-paced online English course for our teams and are seeking four part-time volunteers to support them.

Each volunteer will support a small group of learners (Social Workers, teachers, managers, office staff etc.) through online or in-person coaching, helping them stay motivated and improve their confidence. We welcome applicants from all around the world!

You’ll provide:

Regular check-ins and encouragement
Basic conversation and pronunciation practice
Simple grammar and vocabulary support
Fun tips and ideas to enhance learning

Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
Experience in coaching, tutoring, or education is a plus
Available for at least 3 months, part-time only (6–8 hours/week)
