Description
Job Purpose
We are looking for a highly motivated EU Project Manager to support our team in Polykastro, Greece. The role will include coordinating the management and implementation of EU-funded grants, including grant drafting and justification, and representing OCC in communication with the European and national Greek organizations.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Along with the Site Coordinator, building and maintaining relationships with Greek non-profit organizations with which OCC works.
Drafting and submitting EU projects applications, reports and grant justifications.
Managing the projects funded by EU programmes such as ESC, Erasmus, AMIF and others.
Representing the organisation in meetings with partner organisations and creating new partnerships.
Representing the organisation with the Greek National Agency, the European Commission and other European Partners.
Job requirements:
Bachelor degree in Social Sciences/Business or Public Administration, Migration/Education or similar with at least 1 year of experience in a similar position or high school diploma with at least 3 years of experience working in a similar position.
Advanced university degree will be considered an asset.
Advanced skills on MS Office, Google Drive, CRM platforms. Knowledge in Beneficiary Module, EU Pass, EU Funding and Tenders, Youthpass is a plus.
Knowledge of the values and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps program.
An ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with governmental and non-profit organizations.
High levels of organization and project management skills.
Ability to speak English fluently both written and oral. Knowledge of Greek is an asset.
Multitasking and prioritizing.
Experience in managing projects, setting project management planning, drafting project presentations.
Ability to oversee volunteers.
Commitment to the mission of OCC, the project objectives, and the volunteer team.
Demonstrate an ability to work in teams in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to identify opportunities through a holistic vision of the project.
Driving licence with at least 1 year of experience will be considered an asset.
Availability to travel to other European countries for project meetings.
