About the Program:

Established in 2018, the Civil Society Enablement Unit supports grassroots NGOs and CSOs through capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening small community-based organizations with the skills and knowledge needed for long-term sustainability.

The CSEU upholds the highest standards of integrity, with a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual exploitation, abuse, child abuse, fraud, bribery, and corruption. It is also committed to protecting the security, confidentiality, and privacy of personal information.

Furthermore, the CSEU is dedicated to safeguarding children’s well-being and upholding the principles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Job Purpose:

The Field Assistant supports the effective implementation and monitoring of civil society projects through coordination with partner CSOs and the project team, provision of field and logistical support, and contribution to accurate documentation, data compilation, and reporting in line with the project work plan.

Strategic and Operational:

Coordinate with partner CSOs and the project team, particularly in Mardin and Şanlıurfa.
Provide regular updates and ensure timely follow-up on project activities in accordance with the approved work plan.
Support data compilation and organization for project monitoring and evaluation (M&E) purposes.
Assist granted project teams in preparing and organizing all required financial, logistical, and M&E documentation.
Conduct regular field visits to granted project locations to provide direct on-site support.
Contribute to the preparation of periodic narrative reports on the implementation of granted projects.
Support logistical arrangements for in-person and remote activities, including travel coordination, venue bookings, and materials preparation.
Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.
Education & Experience:

Minimum of two years of professional experience in the humanitarian sector.
Demonstrated experience in financial management, logistics, and monitoring & evaluation (M&E).
Strong knowledge and experience in civil society initiatives, particularly in programs related to women’s protection.
Competencies:

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, including demonstrated effectiveness in communication with the granted projects’ stakeholders.
High standards of confidentiality, reliability, and discretion.
Able to manage multiple activities and identify priorities, meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Arabic & Turkish is mandatory.
Good ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
