Overall Job Purpose

 

As part of board, The Finance Administrator will strategically support ITF’s financial management system.

 

Responsibilities :

 

As a member of the board, participate in board meetings and contribute to the overall development of ITF.

 

Evaluate and review ITF’s accounting systems to provide regular feedback and ensure relevance.

 

Support in analyzing and interpreting financial data and recommending changes to ITF’s financial performance.

 

Give advice on tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork and reports (month and year end financial reporting) as needed.

 

Offer technical advice on budget(s) preparation

 

Advise on the development and documentation of organizational/ business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls

 

Coach and mentor the financial team through capacity building programme and any other way deemed necessary

 

Qualifications:

 

A Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance or Business Administration - Masters is an added advantage

 

Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA

 

Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in: Auditing, Accounting and Finance

 

Proven experience in developing and managing large and complex budgets

 

Attention to detail and ability to analyze data and propose appropriate solutions

 

Excellent communication and organizational skills

 

Demonstrated ability to think independently and work collaboratively

 

Sufficient time to devote and volunteer as a member of the Board

 

Must be between 25 - 35 years of age.
