Altamont Group is seeking a PROPOSAL WRITER to create complete, targeted, tailored, and compelling responses to requests for proposals (RFP) and win new business across the HUMANITARIAN AND DEVELOPMENT SECTORS. We need an energetic motivated andpersistent person who can submit AG aligned winning proposals.

Topics for the RFPs will include:

Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, Learning (MERL)
Training, eLearning, Upskilling, Capacity Development
Policy & Strategy
Quality Assurance & Accreditation
Key Responsibilities

Develop high-quality, client-ready proposal responses to requests for proposals (RFP).
Produce quality responses to RFPs by following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone
Develop pitch meeting documents including PPT, briefing notes, speaking points, etc.
Coordinate with Altamont Group’s technical team to refine content and ensure coherence.
Edit and revise drafts based on feedback within agreed turnaround time.
Ensure proposals are compliant, persuasive, and technically sound.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University; Master’s preferred.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience writing donor-funded proposals (NGOs, INGOs, foundations, multilaterals).
Experience across the humanitarian and development sectors
Experience developing results frameworks, MERL plans, theories of change, or capacity development methodologies.
Ability to produce polished, client-ready proposals under tight deadlines.
Excellent English writing skills with strong attention to clarity and structure.
