Description
Job Purpose:
To provide graphic design services that support the organization’s activities and projects, ensuring the production of high-quality visual materials that reflect the organization’s identity and humanitarian mission, including media campaigns, social media content, reports, and printed materials.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design visual materials for campaigns and projects (posters, brochures, banners, presentations, etc.).
Prepare customized designs for social media platforms in line with the organization’s visual identity guidelines.
Develop and implement creative ideas to support media and marketing messages.
Edit and enhance images and videos in terms of lighting, colors, and adding necessary visual elements.
Coordinate with media, advocacy, and campaign teams to ensure designs align with goals and expected deliverables.
Adhere to the organization’s branding guidelines and update them when needed.
Archive and maintain source design files in an organized manner.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Minimum of two years’ experience in graphic design, preferably within humanitarian organizations or media institutions.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, with good knowledge of Canva or similar tools.
Knowledge of the basics of designing content for social media platforms.
Ability to create and present innovative ideas in line with the nature of humanitarian work.
Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work within a team and handle work pressure.
