JOB SUMMARY

The HR Officer plays a vital role in managing HR operations for HQ staff and providing direct support to both the HR Manager and HR Coordinator. The role involves maintaining accurate employee files, supporting HR administrative processes, and contributing to recruitment and onboarding when needed. The HR Officer is expected to bring strong HR knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to support multiple HR functions, ensuring compliance and efficiency in HR operations.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and manage comprehensive employee files and records for HQ staff.

• Support contract management by preparing, updating, and archiving employment contracts and amendments.

• Assist the HR Manager and HR Coordinator with HR administrative processes, including payroll support and document verification.

• Support onboarding processes: prepare induction materials, collect necessary documentation, and ensure smooth integration of new hires.

• Monitor staff compliance with required HR documentation and policies.

• Generate and update HR reports, trackers, and dashboards as required.

• Provide administrative and logistical support for HR meetings, trainings, and staff activities.

• Assist in recruitment processes when requested (job postings, screening, scheduling, reference checks).

• Ensure compliance with organizational HR policies and labor standards.

• Maintain confidentiality of employee data and ensure secure handling of HR files.

• Perform additional HR tasks as required by the HR Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• University degree in HR, business administration, or related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR operations, employee file management, or HR administration.

• Solid understanding of HR processes and documentation standards.

• Experience with recruitment processes (advertising, screening, shortlisting) is desirable.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.

• Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software/systems.

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.

• Previous experience in NGOs/INGOs is required.
