Overall Job Purpose

 

As part of board, The International Development Specialist will support the internationalization process of ITF.

 

Responsibilities:

 

As a member of the board, participate in board meetings and contribute to the overall development of ITF.

 

Review ITF’s internationalization strategy and provide technical expertise on multi-country project design.

 

Advice on relationship-building, marketing, and communication techniques to raise the profile of ITF globally.

 

Support the organization's initiatives through actively seeking partners and donors

 

Provide advice and feedback to the secretariat on the development framework for partnership agreements that can increase opportunities.

 

Coach and mentor the international relations team through capacity building programmes and any other way deemed necessary.

 

Qualifications:

 

Degree in a relevant discipline (such as International Development, Law, Political Science, Communications or International Relations is required)

 

Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience with an international organization

 

Experience in developing and executing partnership and programme development plans.

 

Knowledge on proposal writing and project acquisition.

 

Programme and project management experience within a complex reform environment.

 

Excellent communication and organizational skills

 

Demonstrated ability to think independently and work collaboratively

 

Sufficient time to devote and volunteer as a member of the Board

 

Must be between 25 - 35 years of age.
