Job Description:

The Local Coordinator serves as the primary liaison and support person for program participants, host families, and partner organizations within a designated local area. This role involves coordinating and facilitating the successful placement and ongoing support of participants in programs such as cultural exchanges, educational initiatives, or community volunteer activities.

Job Qualifications/Skills:

Currently based in Cambodia or a Cambodian citizen.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in community coordination, program facilitation, or related roles; experience with cultural exchange or educational programs preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and cultural backgrounds.
Ability to recruit, screen, and assess potential host families or volunteers with attention to safety and quality.
Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to support participants and hosts throughout the program.
Highly organized with excellent record-keeping and reporting abilities.
Familiarity with local community resources and support services is an advantage.
