JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure that all equipment, facilities, and systems are operating safely and efficiently. The role involves identifying and resolving maintenance issues, supporting store operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for equipment, facilities, and systems.
Inspect and identify faults, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements.
Carry out electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance works as required.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns to minimise operational disruption.
Ensure that maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.
Conduct regular inspections of stores, facilities, and equipment to identify potential maintenance issues.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and completed work orders.
Follow the preventive maintenance schedule and ensure all planned maintenance activities are completed on time.
Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when specialised maintenance support is required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, health and safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
Maintain proper care and safe use of tools, equipment, and maintenance materials.
Report any major faults, safety hazards, or recurring maintenance issues to the line manager.
Support maintenance activities for other business units, including supply centres and warehouses, when required.
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-maintained working environment.
Submit maintenance reports and update the maintenance system/ERP with completed activities and required information.

Required Qualifications

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or a related field.
Relevant technical qualifications and certifications will be an advantage.

Language Proficiency

English: Good

List of Knowledge and Skills Required

Experience in maintenance, preferably in QSR, F&B, retail, or a similar operational environment.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance works.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and facility-related problems.
Preventive and corrective maintenance knowledge.
Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent maintenance requirements.
Deadline-oriented with good time management and attention to detail.
Good understanding of health and safety policies and procedures.
Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to use maintenance tools, equipment, and systems effectively.
