The position of Marketing internship Officer is to assist to oversee and develop the SB Overseas marketing strategy. The Marketing Officer is also responsible for the coordination and implementation of SB Overseas marketing plans.
Create unique and original marketing strategies
Conceptualize, implement and follow through with dynamic marketing plans, with a focus on communication, advertising, and fundraising
Creatively exploit social and news media to optimize exposure of marketing campaigns
Cultivation of personal contacts with corporations, businesses, government agencies, and international organizations as part of marketing outreach
Explore innovative ways to reach potential donors and uncover new markets
Focus on three key campaigns:
Winter (Christmas) campaign – November/December
Preparation of press releases and newsletters.
Coordinates social media exposure (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Whatsap,……..).
Takes the lead for graphic design, video development, web page, and newsletter creation for SB marketing campaigns
Preparation of periodic reports and updates on marketing campaigns.
Preparation of end-of-campaign reports, including Lessons-Learned.
Developing a marketing strategy and plan to attract potential volunteers for centres.
One year of marketing experience
Social media experience and skills
Experience writing proposals and presentations
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English and very good in French
Good computer skills
Familiar with web design, graphic design, and videography
Highly motivated, passionate, and capable of autonomous work
Imaginative and creative
Capable of working under the pressure of tight deadlines
Confident and direct when representing SB Overseas to sponsors, donors or funding agencies
Displays strong personal initiative
Social and engaging with excellent interpersonal skills
Flexible and open to new ideas
Calm and rational with a logical and analytical approach to problems
