Description

Purpose Statement:
The Membership and Fund Drive Manager is responsible for implementing strategies to generate resources and reach targets through its recruitment efforts and membership and fund drive activities. He/she will manage a team of membership and fund drive staff to ensure deliverables are met, coordinate and assist chapters in their recruitment campaigns, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including insurance providers and clients. This role also requires the preparation of reports and presentations to management and donors.

Key Responsibilities:

Membership and Fund Drive Operations

Implement the Membership and Fund Drive strategy, with a focus on achieving fundraising and recruitment goals.
Set annual targets, budget, and workplan, and monitor progress to ensure deliverables are met.
Manage day-to-day operations of the Membership and Fund Drive Office.
Supervise staff and assign tasks aligned with job descriptions.
Monitor staff performance and conduct periodic appraisals.
Prepare marketing and pitch materials.
Prepare reports and presentations to management, donors, and internal and external stakeholders.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure proper implementation of recruitment and promotional campaigns.
Coordinate with chapters to ensure all members are properly declared and remitted.
Prepare reconciled lists of paid members and submit to insurer for policy endorsement.
Submit insurance claims and monitor reimbursements to clients.
Ensure that all documents are properly filed and turned over to accounting for reference.
Monitor the release of kits and coverage information to members.
Monitor and track delivery of kits to chapters and ensure receipt by members.
Monitor utilization of chapter kits and replenish if necessary.
Assist in membership and fundraising events, including participation in PRC and other partner events.
Assist in disaster-related fundraising activities.

Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Secretary General.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree holder
Experience:

At least 5 years of work experience in program development, fundraising, and other related work
With experience in supervising a team of staff
Skills:

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to manage a team
Ability to multitask
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving skills
Marketing experience is a plus
