Purpose Statement:

 

Responsible for the execution of the program components of the project and thus, ensuring the continuity, application, and realization of the entire project. A considerable amount of trust and responsibility for the success of the livelihoods Project, therefore, rest in his/her post. Responsible for the recording summarizing and classifying financial transactions of the Chapter/Office were assigned including but not limited to, the maintenance of subsidiary ledgers for cash receipts, disbursements, account payable/receivable and other books of accounts.

 

Job descriptions:

 

  • Shall provide leadership and direction to ensure success of project implementation in livelihood employment.

 

  • Participate in the strategic annual planning process.

 

  • Shall provide technical support and direction in all SRC funded projects:

 

Employment NCR, Zamboanga

 

Support in PD-BARMM

 

  • Work with sector leads to ensure that all programmes and operations in the response are implemented in accordance with the Red Cross and Red Crescents Minimum Standards for Protection, Gender and Inclusion in Emergencies and the response promotes the dignity, access, participation and safety of women.

 

  • Perform other duties in addition to the above responsibilities, commensurate with background and experience as deemed necessary by Supervisor; especially contributing to development and management of additional programmed in the future.

 

  • Shall ensure the security and confidentiality of all data or information collected by the project.

 

  • Shall perform technical support for the capacity of the PRC chapters supported by the project through conducting continuous mentoring and coaching for the welfare services focal persons.

 

  • Shall maintain a flexible approach to the activities of the project so that methods and systems may be developed during the program to enhance the value of the work undertaken.

 

  • Shall undertake and perform any other activities and tasks as required by the PRC, as directed by the NHQs through Welfare Service.

 

  • Shall ensure that all equipment used by himself/herself, or under his/her control, is effectively use, maintained, and secured.

 

  • Ensure that the project teams based at the Chapters are properly monitored.

 

  • Provide direction and support necessary to the project team staff to allow them to carry out their tasks effectively and efficiently.

 

  • Perform as required or as delegated by the Chapter Administrator, as spokesperson for the project. and to ensure that the objectives and successes as well as weaknesses are properly recorded, documented, and reported.

 

  • Maintain a flexible approach to the activities of the project so that methods and systems may be developed during the program to enhance the value of the work undertaken.

 

  • Undertake and perform any other activities and tasks as required by the PRC, as directed by the Chapter Administrator and the NHQs through the Welfare Service.

 

  • Ensure that the NHQ Project Officer and Chapter Administrator through the CSR are fully informed of all views, information and all data collected from the communities.

 

  • Manage the project implementation in accordance with the objectives, plan of action, calendar, and planned budget; and assume responsibility for and manage effectively and efficiently all programme activities envisaged by the Annual Work Plan and allocated resources (human, financial, physical/material assets, etc.) in order to meet expected results.

 

  • Organize with the assistance of other team members and the Chapter as necessary, all meeting for both dissemination of information with all interested parties and project review meetings.

 

  • Provide support in all aspects of the programs/projects (technical, financial, logistics, administrative, etc.), including effective monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

 

  • Prepare reports on progress, administration, accounts, and budget as required by the Chapter, NHQs, and donor agencies, through the Chapter Administrator.

 

  • Undertake regular field visits to the projects sites to ensure regular monitoring and the accomplishment of Spanish Red Cross or external donors' requisites and regulations.

 

  • Undertake regular monitoring and provide reporting on the changing operational context and the protection risks to ensure that prevention, mitigation, and response are targeted and adapted to the changing context, risks and needs.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Candidate must be a graduate of any 4-year course but preferably a Social Worker, Psychology related field or any related field of study

 

  • Has at least one year experience in the management and implementation of development programs.

 

  • Experience working for an international non-profit organization and in back-donor funded project management and implementation will be an advantage.

 

  • Possess skills in training, developing and managing staff.

 

  • Possess skills in handling administrative works.

 

  • Possess ability to work effectively as a team member and independently.

 

  • Possess critical and creative thinking and analytical skills.

 

  • Experience in handling training and development of training curriculum and syllabus.

 

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

 

  • Proficient In basic computer software programs (e.g. word, excel, powerpoint, internet)

 

  • Committed, results oriented, and have effective managerial skills.

 

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

 

  • A team builder with excellent people skills.
