Woman Support Association is a humanitarian, developmental, and nongovernmental organization that was established in 2013 and officially registered in Turkey in 2015 and in Syria in 2025 under the name ISWA. All projects implemented by the Association in Syria and Turkey aim to build a better life for women and empower them so that they can face problems and challenges in a way that maintains their dignity and respect.

Key responsibilities

Monthly collect financial reports from the partner with the necessary supporting documents to review and approve the report in coordination with the Finance Officer to ensure that the partner is eligible to receive the next advance.
Review internal compliance and monitor activities, including periodic partner reviews. Conducting random sample checks to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures stipulated by the sponsor. Participating in preparing budgets and assisting in preparing budgets for the system.
Review financial policies in line with the work of non-profit organizations. Review financial and accounting procedures in line with new financial policies. Develop a matrix to define the powers and responsibilities in the financial department and the relationship with other departments in the organization. Review all data to work on QuickBooks Chart of Accounts, Donor List, Supplier List, Employee List, Bank Accounts, Project Data Entry
Create an ERP system and connect it to QuickBooks where QuickBooks and ERP are synchronized to avoid duplication of work and maintain confidentiality in financial management.
There is a system to follow up and track the budget for each project individually through this system.
Maintain a computerized filing system that is periodically updated
Liaise with partners on financial reporting requirements, compliance reviews and budget realignments.
Supervise all procurement and logistics operations
Supervise the performance of the procurement and logistics officer
Supervise all HR operations including recruitment, incentive payment, resignations, disciplinary procedures, reports and complaints
Supervise the performance of the HR Officer
Preparing monthly/quarterly verification reports
Ensure that the project is fully prepared for any type of audits and donor compliance visits
He/she is a point of contact for donor rules and regulations
Oversee and provide technical support to the Finance Department regarding donor compliance and grants management
Ensure regular adherence to donor guidelines, compliance and strategic directions. Assist in entering accounting entries and disbursement orders
Building the capabilities of those who need training in the financial department

Competencies, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Economics, business administration, public administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience providing administrative support to senior executives.
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English languages.
High level of discretion and professionalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of administrative policies and procedures.
