Description

Help is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of PR/SMM Assistant for its Emergency assistance programme to ensure support of programme activities.

Summary:

 

Help is seeking a qualified employee to fill the PR/SMM Assistant position. The PR/SMM Assistant will work under the supervision of the PR manager and the PR Officer and will be responsible for assisting the PR UKR team in creating the public image of Help - Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe on social media.

 

Location: PR/SMM Assistant will be based in Kyiv

 

Starting date: ASAP

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

SMM

 

Research and execute social media campaigns.

Create an online voice and image of Help in Ukraine to reach the targeted demographic.

Develop together with the PR manager and PR Officer an online communication strategy for presenting the Help activities in Ukraine on social media.

Develop and implement content plans together with the PR manager and PR Officer.

Suggest ideas for organically promoting the Help pages on social media.

Create targeted advertising on social media.

Gather and analyse data for social media analytics.

Visibility

 

Draft and design offline and online visibility material.

PR

 

Write texts about the activities of the organization using storytelling (human interest stories).

Creating video content (reels) from available photos/videos.

Assist PR Officer/photographer on field visits with taking interviews, and making photo/video materials, which can be used for social media.

Looking for media, with which it would be worthwhile to cooperate on the visibility of the organization's activities.

Maintain contact databases and mailing lists with updates.

Examine and document media coverage and track relevant PR metrics.

Create project-specific media lists to support the V PR team.

Responsible for the press clipping archive and scanning of materials.

Transcribing audio and video material.

PR-related administrative tasks and support to the PR team.

Other reasonably related duties to the job/position, as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

 

At least a year of work experience on social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).

The ability to write texts using Storytelling.

The ability to create a video using Storytelling.

Active knowledge of spoken and written English and Ukrainian language.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, self-initiative, and responsibility.

IT literacy.

Analytical and organizational skills.

Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.

Ability to learn quickly and adjust to new assignments.

Previous experience in the civil/NGO sector, both local and international, with similar scope and type of work will be a plus.

Reporting and communication:

 

The PR/SMM Assistant reports to the PR Officer and the PR manager to the reporting procedure set by Help.
