Overall Objective
The Public Opinion Surveys Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, supervising, and reporting on the public opinion survey. This includes survey design (in collaboration with the M&E team), training and management of enumerators, coordination with field teams, data validation, and dissemination of survey findings.

Scope of Work and Responsibilities
Survey Design & Planning.:
Coordinate with M&E and Programs team to finalize survey methodology, tools, and
sampling strategy (stratified to ensure representation of women, minorities, displaced communities.
Develop detailed work plans and timelines for survey implementation.
Liaise with external experts/partners if needed for technical validation of methodology.
Implementation & Field Coordination:
Recruit, train, and supervise field enumerators and local focal points.
Ensure ethical standards, informed consent, and confidentiality in all survey activities.
Monitor field data collection to ensure adherence to methodology and quality assurance standards.
Troubleshoot logistical and operational issues in collaboration with program coordinators.
Data Management & Analysis
Oversee data entry, cleaning, and validation processes.
Coordinate with MEAL team and data analysts to produce statistical outputs.
Ensure timely production of the survey report.
Dissemination & Advocacy Support
Coordinate with the Communications team to prepare infographics, policy briefs, and digital content based on survey findings.
Support organization of 6 awareness-raising workshops to present survey results to civil society, communities, and decision-makers.
Provide technical inputs for advocacy campaigns based on survey evidence.
Reporting & Documentation
Submit regular progress updates to the Project Manager and M&E team.
Prepare final documentation of lessons learned, challenges, and recommendations for future surveys.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Statistics, Political Science, Development Studies, or related field (master’s preferred).
At least 3 years of professional experience in survey coordination, social research, or MEAL roles.
Strong knowledge of survey methodology, sampling techniques, and quantitative/qualitative research methods.
Experience supervising field teams and managing data collection in complex/fragile contexts.
Excellent skills in data analysis software (SPSS, STATA, or R) and digital survey
platforms (Kobo, ODK, SurveyCTO).
Demonstrated ability to produce clear reports and policy-relevant findings.
Strong communication and facilitation skills; ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Fluency in Arabic (required) and English (required).
Expected Deliverables

Finalized survey methodology and tools.
Trained enumerators and field teams
Survey data collected, validated, and analyzed.
Comprehensive survey report with findings and recommendations.
Awareness-raising workshops completed.
Final technical report including lessons learned.
Evaluation criteria:
Experience and qualifications (70%), financial offer (30%)
