Description
The Senior Billing/AR Analyst will assist with monthly billings by collecting data from the various programs and preparing monthly billings. The Analyst will complete financial analysis for each assigned program. The analyst will apply payments received from various sources such as donations and program fundings and apply according to the various guidelines.
Location: Remote

Responsibilities:
Prepare and record monthly billings per contract/funding source.
Record all donation and funding receipts in the general ledger daily.
Communicate and coordinate with program operations ensuring tight deadlines and accurate data is collected.
Reconcile and analyze general ledger activity for each contract/funding source for monthly invoicing.
Prepare general ledger reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts.
Collect supporting documentation and code transactions for monthly corporate credit card charges and coordinates with the Treasury Manager.
Assist with other special projects as assigned by Billing Supervisor and/or Controller.
Able to analyze large volumes of data and organize to match contract budgets funding lines.
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications:
Nonprofit accounting experience including familiarity with CFR regulations is required
Experience with USAID, HHS or DOS required
BS in Accounting, Finance or equivalent with 5 years’ experience
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and rules including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel and Word
Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to prioritize and manage a variety of projects and activities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness and meeting deadlines
Self-motivated, able to work independently with limited supervision and in a team environment
A positive attitude and willingness to support CORE’s mission and efforts
Flexibility and willingness to modify schedule to work overtime hours, evenings or weekends, if needed and particularly during times CORE responds to disaster relief activities
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks online preferred but not required
