Summary
The Senior Program Field Officer (SPFO), MENA will lead the design, facilitation, and implementation of national clubfoot programs in the region. This highly strategic programmatic role emphasizes strengthening partnerships with local providers and hospitals, advancing best practices in program delivery and grantmaking, and ensuring alignment with broader public health trends and policies.
The SPFO will be based in one of MiracleFeet’s existing or prospective countries (e.g., Morocco, Egypt, Lebanon, or Jordan), with frequent in-region travel. The successful candidate will bring significant program management experience in global health or international development, fluency in Arabic and French (with strong English proficiency highly preferred), and the ability to engage effectively with Ministries of Health, local stakeholders, and international partners.
The SPFO reports to the Director of Programs and works closely with the broader program management team.
Essential Functions
Program Development, Monitoring, and Strategic Planning
Lead and support the design, planning, implementation, and monitoring of MiracleFeet-supported national clubfoot programs across MENA.
Drive the launch of new programs in North Africa and Middle Eastern countries, while strengthening and expanding current efforts in Egypt, Chad, Morocco and Mauritania.
Support partners in aligning programs with national health systems, policies, and broader child health priorities.
Guide local partners in developing workplans, budgets, scopes of work, and grant agreements that ensure program quality, sustainability, and growth.
Conduct vetting when sourcing, selecting and strengthening local partners, ensuring capacity building and sustainability planning are in place.
Support the integration of clubfoot treatment into public health systems, including workforce development, data systems, and referral pathways.
Assist partners in utilizing program data and innovative tools (e.g., Salesforce, CAST APP, CAST Community) for evidence-based decision-making.
Monitor regional and global public health trends to identify opportunities for advocacy, integration, and alignment.
Partnership Development and Advocacy
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Ministries of Health, hospitals, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders.
Provide technical support, coaching, and mentoring to partners to strengthen program delivery, reporting, and governance.
Represent MiracleFeet in stakeholder meetings, collaborative platforms, and policy discussions in the region.
Support advocacy efforts to expand government ownership of clubfoot programs and long-term sustainability.
Programmatic Coordination and Learning
Contribute to cross-regional learning, ensuring best practices are shared and adapted to the MENA context.
Collaborate with the Programs Team to develop regional strategies and frameworks, and to promote knowledge exchange.
Prepare programmatic updates, reports, and documentation for internal and external audiences, including donors, boards, and governments.
Participate in organization-wide initiatives, task forces, and global campaigns to advance MiracleFeet’s mission.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate degree in public health, social development, or child development.
Minimum of 6–8 years of program management experience, preferably in public health, child protection, or child-oriented development in the MENA region.
Demonstrated experience building and strengthening local partnerships, preferably with Ministries of Health and hospital systems.
Fluency in Arabic and French is required; proficiency in English is strongly preferred.
Ability to travel within the region up to 30% of the time. Residency and valid work authorization in a MENA country where MiracleFeet operates or plan to expand (e.g., Morocco, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan). MiracleFeet cannot provide visa sponsorship.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong regional network and familiarity with international development and public health systems in MENA.
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-country programs and navigate political, cultural, and social dynamics.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience preparing reports, concept notes, and policy briefs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
High degree of cultural humility and the ability to build trust-based partnerships.

Salary/Benefits
This is a full-time remote, contract-based position. We will not be offering a US-based employment contract.
Applicants must already reside and have work authorization in a MiracleFeet-priority MENA country.
Salary commensurate with experience and aligned with local market standards.
