Equity & Empowerment Organization announces its intent to solicit quotations from qualified training firms or professional trainers (male or female) to deliver in-person professional training combined with tailored coaching and mentoring in the field of fundraising and resource mobilization. The activity will be implemented under the NARNG project, in accordance with the following terms and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Coaching Subject

Fundraising Strategies and Resource Mobilization for Civil Society Organizations (Fundraising Training)

The program will cover advanced topics, including:

Designing fundraising strategies and sustainable financial planning.

Effective communication with donors and building relationships with funding partners.

Developing high-quality, evidence-based funding proposals.

Negotiating and building long-term funding partnerships.

Exploring innovative funding sources (e.g., crowdfunding, cooperative grants, blended finance).

Training on the most well-known fundraising platforms and their practical use.

Integrating transparency, accountability, and gender mainstreaming into funding plans.

Delivering individual and group coaching/mentoring sessions to support participants in developing actionable and practical funding plans for their organizations.

As a practical output, designing and implementing a fundraising media campaign together with the team, applying the skills learned during the training.

Implementation Location

Azaz – Northwest Syria

Delivered in-person in Azaz and online simultaneously, with the possibility of providing mentoring sessions remotely.

Training & Mentoring Duration:

Training: 5 interactive training days.

Coaching/Mentoring: 3 individual sessions per participant (40 minutes each), to be conducted within two weeks after the training concludes.

Expected Participants: 10 staff members from the organization.

Scope of Work

The selected trainer/firm will:

Design a comprehensive training package including tools and practical applications.
Develop an interactive training and mentoring methodology tailored to the local context.
Deliver training in Arabic or English.
Provide post-training coaching/mentoring according to an agreed schedule.
Supply all materials (presentations, worksheets, practical exercises) to the organization.
Facilitate the design and execution of a fundraising media campaign as a practical outcome of the training.
Submit a final report including: training evaluation, key observations from mentoring sessions, progress analysis, and recommendations.
Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in training civil society staff in fundraising and/or resource mobilization.
Practical experience in delivering professional coaching/mentoring in the same field.
Solid understanding of the Syrian context and funding challenges in the humanitarian sector.
Ability to apply gender-sensitive and transparent approaches.
Preference for candidates with a proven track record of collaboration with humanitarian or development organizations.
