Operation Blessing (OB) is looking for a Transportation Manager to manage commercial Truck Drivers, ensuring compliance with DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and facilitate fleet dispatch.  This position will work onsite at OB’s Distribution Center in Ocala, FL.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)

Knowledge of highway laws, and standard trucking equipment

Strong ability to lead, manage and motivate drivers

Excellent logistical, decision making, and problem- solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Electronic Logging Devices and industry standard transportation routing applications

Strong oral and written communications skills

Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as be an effective member of a team

Flexible with ability to work well under pressure, consistently meet deadlines, and effectively multi-task

Ability to travel

Class “A” CDL required

Forklift Certification required
