Created in 1993, ACTED is an international non-governmental organization. It pursues a dual mandate of emergency and development responses and operates in 40 countries deeply affected by conflicts, natural disasters and/or socio-economic vulnerabilities. 7000 national employees and 400 international employees collaborate and enable ACTED to implement 500 projects per year with activities reaching more than 20 million beneficiaries in hard-to-reach areas.

ACTED France (HQ)

Composed of 120 people, the headquarters of ACTED is located in Paris in order to support and generalize the interventions of the organization throughout the world.


Main role and responsibilities

Participate in the development cycle on ACTED IMS applications , with a focus but not limited to HMI / "frontend" aspects, allowing the creation of the organization's future business applications;

Implement tests and ensure code coverage aligned with department policies;

Maintain a watch on "front-end" technologies on test subjects, CI, architecture, prototyping, schematics, etc. to improve product quality.

Qualifications and skills required

You have a computer background with non-formal experience in web development;

Knowledge of the Angular ecosystem (Angular > 8, TypeScript, CSS) required;

Knowledge of testing concepts: (unit, integration, CI);

Notions of Docker appreciated;

Notions of backend frameworks in Python: (Django, Flask, etc.) appreciated;

Notions of RESTful APIs appreciated;

Drafting and completion of technical documents: specifications, proposals;

Rigorous, autonomous and organized, solution-oriented;

Fluent English & French required.


Monthly compensation of 850€
