Description

A manufacturing company in the UAE is looking for a skilled, responsible, and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to handle the movement, loading, unloading, and storage of materials and products. The ideal candidate should have good forklift operating skills, strong awareness of workplace safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, and material movement.
Move raw materials, finished products, pallets, cartons, and other goods within the warehouse or facility.
Load and unload trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles safely.
Transport materials to designated storage, production, or dispatch areas.
Stack and organize pallets and materials properly in designated locations.
Follow proper procedures while lifting, carrying, and positioning heavy materials.
Inspect the forklift before and after each shift and report any mechanical or safety issues.
Ensure the forklift is operated within its safe load capacity.
Maintain proper visibility and safe driving practices inside the warehouse and work area.
Follow warehouse traffic rules, safety procedures, and company policies.
Assist warehouse staff with general material handling activities as required.
Maintain accurate records of material movements where required.
Keep the forklift and work area clean and in good working condition.
Report damaged goods, unsafe conditions, or operational issues to the supervisor.
Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment.
Valid forklift operator certification/license as required by the company and applicable UAE regulations.
Good knowledge of forklift operation and material-handling procedures.
Ability to safely handle heavy materials and operate equipment in busy work environments.
Physically fit and able to work in a warehouse or industrial environment.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
UAE experience is an advantage.
