Description

A company in the UAE is looking for an experienced, skilled, and responsible HVAC Supervisor to oversee HVAC installation, maintenance, repair, and service activities. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to supervise technicians while ensuring all HVAC work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to required quality standards.
Supervise and coordinate daily HVAC installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing activities.
Lead and assign work to HVAC technicians and maintenance staff.
Inspect HVAC systems, equipment, and installations to identify faults and maintenance requirements.
Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot HVAC system problems and guide technicians in resolving technical issues.
Ensure proper installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
Monitor the performance of air-conditioning, ventilation, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and related systems.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed according to technical specifications and company standards.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective action.
Ensure technicians use tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials properly.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, inspections, and repairs.
Coordinate with clients, facility management teams, contractors, and other departments when required.
Monitor the availability of spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials.
Ensure all HVAC work complies with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Promote safe working practices and ensure technicians use appropriate PPE.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and arrange immediate corrective action.
Train, guide, and support technicians to improve technical skills and work quality.
Prepare daily and periodic maintenance reports for management.
Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.
Perform other HVAC-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma or technical qualification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.
Previous experience as an HVAC Supervisor, HVAC Foreman, or Senior HVAC Technician.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting.
Experience with commercial, residential, industrial, or building HVAC systems is preferred.
Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
Ability to read and understand HVAC drawings, layouts, and technical documents.
Strong leadership and team-management skills.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency breakdowns.
Good knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
UAE experience is an advantage.
