Description

Mokoro is a not-for-profit international development consultancy working globally across sectors such as climate, land and natural resources, food security, nutrition, education, and social protection. We are looking for a Programme Manager to help deliver our portfolio of high-quality consultancy assignments.

This is a varied and hands-on role within our small and collaborative office team. You will manage multiple assignments, working closely with consultants, clients and internal office colleagues to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time and to a high standard.

You will play a key role in coordinating delivery, managing budgets and timelines, and working with teams across different countries and contexts. The role also includes responsibility for managing risk and ensuring effective duty of care, safeguarding and ethical practice across assignments.

Alongside project delivery, you will contribute to business development, supporting proposals, engaging with networks and helping strengthen Mokoro’s portfolio.

We’re looking for someone that:

Has strong project management experience
Is highly organised and able to manage a varied and fast-paced workload
Is confident working with multiple stakeholders across different locations
Has an interest in international development and global issues
Brings a strong commitment to ethical working practices, including safeguarding and duty of care
